I got coffee & was headed to my bedroom when I had this strong feeling to turn on TV. I never do that in the morning but the feeling was so strong. It was the last few seconds of countdown & I was excited. But then the uneven smoke from the craft, total silence & you just knew...

Wouldn't expect any different from former candidate Moonbeam Stardust

I had a similar experience on 9/11. In 1986, I was driving from Tampa to Clearwater listening to the radio, so I stopped and saw the black cloud.
This is nonsense—it was a flawless launch, plus there was no general public view that shuttles were high risk (and thus the decision to add a teacher to the professional crew).

I was working at a helicopter manufacturer and all of us in the photo lab were watching the feed. I think we all knew what happened before it was announced, just from the change in the trail. Don’t know how we made it through the rest of this day.
I was working in the Cinema Studies Department at NYU and we were watching the launch on TV. What a shocking moment.

I was in my 8th grade classroom. The school secretary came over the loudspeaker and told the teacher to turn on the tv because something bad happened. We were all silent watching the coverage.

High school library, stunning moment for us all.

Michael… try not to give this bimbo any more reach than she already has. Does nothing other than give Democrats a bad name.
