This is a crime.
Your daily reminder that the insulin I’ve used for 26 years, Humalog, has gone from $21 a vial to $275 a vial with no changes to the insulin or even the packaging. That’s a 1200% increase on a hormone every human requires to live, but my body can’t make. I die in 48 hours w/o it

"We must get me to run and take money from you to tell you our system is wrong. Then I'll back out and tell you all to vote for Dems". "This is not different from what you've already seen. I'm a long form, fortune cookie boomer author! Listen to me young people and minorities!"

This is unadulterated greed of scumbags who take advantage of the life-or-death need of diabetics for a synthetic substitute for a hormone which most of us produce naturally. Each vial costs less than $10 to produce, but can be sold for over $250 just b/c people NEED it to live!

Zombies making $$$! timesmojo.com/how-much-did-f… Frederick Banting sold the patent for medicinal insulin for $1 for the express reason of making it cheaply available to anyone who needed it. "A 2018 study estimated that one vial of human insulin costs $2.28-$3.42 to produce [...]"

Obamacare ruined our already extremely flawed healthcare system. It’s such a mess. Spent my entire career working in health insurance.
