I have an honest question for people on both sides of this issue. How do you think we can solve the tragic and devastating gun violence problem without stricter gun laws?

It's called murder, genius. It's already against the law.

Except criminals don’t follow stricter gun laws. CA has some of the strictest and look at us. We also have a ridiculous LA County DA Gascon. Get rid of guys like him.
Criminals don't follow laws.... It's weird how people don't understand this
So, you’re advocating to make the government more powerful by removing the ability for the citizenry to revolt.

We can do background checks- stop selling guns without whether personally or as a business….and register all guns currently owned

For who the lawful abiding citizens? Have you discussed this with your local criminals?
You can pass all the laws you want. It wont stop the importation of illegal guns if our politicians wont stop it.

Since Massachusetts enacted gun control laws in 1998 gun violence has risen to almost double what it was in 1998.

Which do nothing, as most of these "devastating " issues happen in states with the strictest rules. And of course in most instances, the FBI always says the shooters were on their radar...but they failed to act.
