I have an honest question for people on both sides of this issue. How do you think we can solve the tragic and devastating gun violence problem without stricter gun laws?

We have thousands of gun control laws in this country. CA has some of the strictest. What NEW gun control law is going to stop criminals, who don't follow them today?

Gun laws don't work to stop violence. Ask those who live in Oakland, CA, Chicago, IL, Baltimore, MD, etc. if stricter gun laws have reduced gun violence in their community. (Hint: they haven't.)

California has the strictest gun laws in the country. Why isn’t the problem solved in the state?

"...without stricter *enforcement of existing laws." Too often, repeat offenders are back on the streets within a few days of committing gun-related crimes. ENFORCE EXISTING LAWS

@marwilliamson How about a constitutional change to restrict civilian gun ownership and use to certified gun ranges, like many well-policed countries? Instead of piecemeal efforts, let's work towards comprehensive reform. I'd definitely vote for you if you championed universal healthcare and a constitutional amendment for a safer society for all. 🗳️🏥🇺🇸 #GunControl #UniversalHealthcare #SaferAmerica

Settle down, commie francis. Sing a different tune.
When will you notice that cities with strict gun laws like Chicago for example, have very high murder rates. It isn’t legal gun owners - it’s criminals/gangs. Do you honestly believe these people are going to turn in their guns? No they won’t so strict gun laws isn’t the answer.

Murdering someone is already as “strictly” illegal as it can get. Do you really think the murderer will decide not to do it if the gun he uses is “illegal?” Sheesh.
