I have an honest question for people on both sides of this issue. How do you think we can solve the tragic and devastating gun violence problem without stricter gun laws?

Can you point out a single gun law that has worked in the US?

We *can't* solve the tragic and devastating gun violence problem without enforcing existing gun laws. There. Fixed it for you. More gun laws don't make sense if the DAs and judges won't enforce them.
You need to first find out WHY, not with WHAT.
California has some of the strictest gun laws and the have the most shootings. So it doesn’t seem like that is working.
Time to admit stricter gun laws aren’t happening. Require liability insurance on guns. Gun owners can rest easy knowing they are insured in case of an accident and insurance companies will promote safety because of the obvious financial incentives.
You are calling for the ban on all semi automatic gun as well as the bullets they fire. What is the difference between that and banning all firearm? Also why is this the only right you feel is worthy of infringing? As you claim to want to codify all other rights of the citizenry
So, making it harder for the law abiding to get guns will solve the problem?
