We have 275 millions cars in this country, and more and more traffic laws. We have 415 million guns in this country, and fewer and fewer gun safety regulations. Can anyone say "insane?"

The total population of the US is 332 million people. How many households have more cars than people, or guns? Or cars and guns?

It’s insane that the parents were not watching over their child and let that happen.

This is 100% bad parenting. What law would have prevented this? Did I miss that 6 yr olds can legally have a gun now? We need to stop blaming gun laws for shitty parents & prosecute parents like these who r irresponsible. Bad parenting is @ the root of many of our issues today.

Mm it’s never a great analogy leaning into Cars vs Guns.

Yes we can say it’s insane. Insane that you compare the two stats. Traffic laws don’t stop traffic deaths, responsible drivers do. Gun laws won’t stop gun deaths, responsible gun owners will.

Cars are more deadly than guns.

What would regulations do to stop this thing from happening? This is a break down of home life. This is a break down of values, common sense and general parenting. Have you seen the crime happening from teens? It is not about guns, it is about valuing LIFE. Common good, respect.
