Both parties (but most egregiously the Republican Party) avoid discussing the larger systemic injustice by which the majority of Americans are for all intents and purposes locked out of the American dream. 1/3

“A necessitous man is not a free man.” - FDR With 60% of Americans living paycheck to paycheck and 1 in 9 Americans saying they’d be unable to absorb a $400 unexpected expenditure, the idea that we have the strongest economy in the world is morally questionable. 2/3

An economy that’s strong for the few at the expense of the many isn’t strong; it’s rigged. Until the system is fundamentally challenged then no matter which party is in charge the people will continue to lose. “Better jobs for the American people” is just code for “crumbs.” 3/3

Maybe those underserved Americans need an APP to apply for help?

I couldn’t agree with this more. The American political system needs complete upheaval and a total overhaul. Neither party is looking after the people.

Yes ... and most Americans have been living off the ... "Crumbs From the Table"... since the 1980's and Reaganism!

The "jobs" line also neglects to include the caveat that all jobs created under the current system will continue to benefit the owning class more than the workers they employ. Ultimately more/better jobs is self serving, making it obvious why more/better services are unmentioned

So what’s the solution?

Why don’t we start by not funding for/supporting wars and sending our resources overseas? If anything, the uniparty (mostly democrats) are in favor of dismantling the nuclear family and making it harder for the working class to survive because of high taxes because of these wars.
