Both parties (but most egregiously the Republican Party) avoid discussing the larger systemic injustice by which the majority of Americans are for all intents and purposes locked out of the American dream. 1/3

“A necessitous man is not a free man.” - FDR With 60% of Americans living paycheck to paycheck and 1 in 9 Americans saying they’d be unable to absorb a $400 unexpected expenditure, the idea that we have the strongest economy in the world is morally questionable. 2/3

An economy that’s strong for the few at the expense of the many isn’t strong; it’s rigged. Until the system is fundamentally challenged then no matter which party is in charge the people will continue to lose. “Better jobs for the American people” is just code for “crumbs.” 3/3

If you can't absorb a $400 expenditure - and you loose your home - and you become homeless - and you get put in Jail for being homeless - The Gov is now spending thousands of $ a year to support you - When they could have simply made it easier for you to remain in your home!
