Both parties (but most egregiously the Republican Party) avoid discussing the larger systemic injustice by which the majority of Americans are for all intents and purposes locked out of the American dream. 1/3

“A necessitous man is not a free man.” - FDR With 60% of Americans living paycheck to paycheck and 1 in 9 Americans saying they’d be unable to absorb a $400 unexpected expenditure, the idea that we have the strongest economy in the world is morally questionable. 2/3

An economy that’s strong for the few at the expense of the many isn’t strong; it’s rigged. Until the system is fundamentally challenged then no matter which party is in charge the people will continue to lose. “Better jobs for the American people” is just code for “crumbs.” 3/3

That's because it is a one party system economically speaking, the Neo-Liberal Capitalist party.

It is rigged. Also study the cantillon effect. Inflation caused by increasing the money supply does more to increase the wealth gap than anything else. Those closest to the Fed. (Corporations/super rich/politicians) benefit the most.

Reps destroyed the working middle class. Large corps cutting benefits to us which in turn causes us to pay for more medical expenses. Can no longer afford to save money for new cars or anything for that matter.

Marianne, there is this great book I recommend to you, it is called A Course in Miracles. Here is a quote: “Let me look on the world I see as the representation of my own state of mind.” Its a great read... Everyone knows when the economy was good.
