Starting today it will be a crime to sleep on state-owned land in Missouri. That includes streets, parks and underneath bridges and overpasses. You will be fined $750 and face 15 days in jail.

The unhoused would welcome 15 days of shelter and food. Until their fines add up. Another law passes about fines adding up. Then those unhoused people are shipped off to state contracted free labor camps.
