Starting today it will be a crime to sleep on state-owned land in Missouri. That includes streets, parks and underneath bridges and overpasses. You will be fined $750 and face 15 days in jail.
Is Camping exempted? If we doze off at a bus stop or on a bus, is that reason for the police to harass you? What about a person who might collapse on a side walk? Do they have to prove they weren't sleeping?
