As long as short-term corporates are given greater precedence than the safety and welfare of human beings, animals and the earth itself, we will continue on a devolutionary path to disaster. American capitalism is like a car that's swerved out of control.

Corporations get representation with little or no taxation so they can line the pockets of congress and dictate policy to taxpayers. Then collect subsidies and bailouts. It’s a Ponzi scheme.
