Not to split hairs, because I agree with your basic idea (as usual)… But if we refer to it as an oligarchy, people might begin to catch on to what the US, Ukraine, and The Russian Federation have in common.

Crazy how less informed we are now. What the hell is civic duty to people that aren't aware of possibilities? I mean, it's the landscape of current economics that rule our lives.

I contend that in the US our oligarch’s compete with each other. In other countries, like Russia or China, not so much. But yea things can always be better. Prefer to call out actionable changes than groups of people.
