The US should stop this travesty and drop the charges against Assange. The punishment he has already received is draconian, meant as a dire warning to journalists to not go pokin’ around now ya’all.

not sure prosecuting Assange will have a chilling effect to the media. most media outlets are already derelict in their duty and selectively decide what to report and what to ignore, all based on their political leanings. charging Assange won't change that.
