This is so outrageous! Involuntary relocation; involuntary labor; involuntary separation from one’s spouse and children; involuntary inability to save a loved one being raped, beaten or even killed; involuntary submission to unimaginable cruelty & pain at the whim of an owner.
Just jumping in here to remind everyone that as we end the year, in school districts like Dallas ISD teachers are not allowed to use the word "slavery" in class and are still awaiting to see what term that they can use to describe slavery, such as "involuntary relocation" 1/

It would be outrageous if it were not inaccurate. A ban of the use of the word "slave" or any derivative word in teaching would be a very obvious first amendment violation. Clearly this story is untrue.
