What? Are you under the impression that the US in Afghanistan wasn’t both Republican and Democratic presidents? Not to mention that it was a Democrat who had us leave.

I love this photo from a market in Kabul in 1979. It's a useful reminder that not all change is progress, something many in the West appear to have forgotten.
