Ten yrs ago today one of the greatest tragedies in our history occurred at Sandy Hook Elementary. A second tragedy is that 10 yrs later we still haven't elected enough people to stand up to the NRA & prevent these shootings. America fails its children w such casual disregard.

"Inalienable rights" not in the Constitution, it's in the Dec of Ind - rights "to life, liberty & the pursuit of happiness." It says govt's job is to "secure those rights", clearly NOT HAPPENING in the case of our children. Stop trying to defeat the Declaration of Independence.

I wonder how much more violent the war on guns will be for poor black communities than the war on drugs? Like, every time cops are sent out to fight illegal guns, they'll assume the suspected are armed. No way that can go wrong. Making things illegal just makes them disappear 😅
