We subsidize industries that are destroying our lives, told that if we do not do so it could destroy the economy. The only way to change this is for enough Americans to see through the gaslighting and refuse to any longer accept it.

Can't build an economy on nail salons and apothecaries. At some point someone needs to do work. The gallon of gas in your tank or the jet fuel in an airplane did not get there via wishful thinking.

Since the 1980s, our govt. has essentially paid corporations to move multi-millions of our jobs to foreign countries. 1990s, Dems ended relief for those left jobless. What remains of middle class liberals never figured out the consequences.
