Hopefully we are beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Maybe the entire Trump MAGA thing will one day be looked at like McCarthyism, a terrible chapter we went through but one that ultimately came to an end.

God I hope so. And I hope I was wrong about the Mussolini thing, too. And if he really was ... where would be the surprise. Maybe the lesson is at the Soul level, and we're all slightly better for it. I just wish we could hurry up. It's like America must outgrow the terrible 2's.

I used to follow you Ms Williamson but if you are so against Trump I believe you are compromised. I have thrown your books away.

Trump pulled us out of WHO. Why did everybody else say that was a bad idea? EVEN TRUMP (the worst thing that ever happened) did a better job of addressing the people's concerns. There's a problem. It was a problem before Trump and it will be a problem after.

have you seen the dem party in the last 30 years? their is no chance of that happening they will create more maga villains themselves if the have to. remember when they spent huge chunks of donor cash on maga candidates as a way to say vote for us or else? i sure do..

I can’t believe he didn’t pay his taxes. That’s money we could be using to destroy poor countries

Not unless the root causes are addressed, and I see no sign of that.

The only way to see the light, is to end the continual divisive rhetoric. And to realize what exactly that is doing to us , dividing. There is a far greater picture I’m surprised you can’t see

Doubtful. Hitler spent 9 months in prison for his crimes in the beer hall putsch. We haven't even managed that, for a much bigger incident. Seems more like they are still in the "find out what we can get away with" stage that always precipitates the worst parts of history.

I don't think the root cause has been addressed. Distrust in government is still high. The demographics he appealed to are still there. Maybe Trump himself is on the decline, but his ilk aren't going away.
