If that’s what woke is then why is anyone still asleep?
DeSantis' lawyers were forced by the court to define "woke." The lead lawyer described it as "The belief there are systemic injustices in American society and the need to address them." floridapolitics.com/archives…

You support drag shows for children. What a shame. I don’t know where you learned that in ACIM but I’m pretty sure Jesus wouldn’t approve.

A really bad definition because I believe there is systemic injustice, but I am also anti wokeism

How that is implemented is an entirely different story. Context is important.

This shouldn’t even be political. Injustices are not political. Injustices are societal which need to be addressed within society itself. Ron is using his own philosophy of injustices to himself to create law to protect others like himself.

Issue is #wokeism has become dogmatic, cultish, intolerant. Woke as defined above is somewhat True and we should be awake to it. Problem lies in extremist, inefficient, irrational solutions "too late in the game", which backfire and fester toxic naratives: youtube.com/watch?v=ffIpRC9c…

I'm not sure I understand the context ... To me the term "Wake Up" means to become conscious ... to see reality as it is ... and to see "injustice" wherever it exists!

Yes, systematic injustices need to be addressed. Problems: 1.) "Woke" has gone too far..making things up & exaggerating. 2.) Too many "good" issues are polarized by people pushing to the extremes or propagating great fear of those that don't 100% agree making them out as evil.
