Disturbing how many voices both left & right across wide array of sectors are refusing to condemn Ye's attacks on Jews & glorification of Nazis. Ignorance (or denial) of history? Hoping he'll eventually calm down? Head in the sand while evil festers? #SilenceIsComplicity

I personally am not giving his voice or opinions any more elevation. It's disgusting how he's continually given platforms to continue. Silence means he's canceled, elevation of his voice is the complicity.

Ye is black. He is of a marginalized group.

It is. Most people I know are dismissing it as the ramblings of a madman, but unsettling nonetheless. The focused ire of these ultraconservative groups towards Jews, trans people, brown immigrants, is alarming as hell.

I think some people may hesitate to comment because he is clearly seriously mentally ill.

Silence is complicity! ... Every prominent figure ... Republicans and Democrats should be pushing back against this kind of rhetoric ... The RNC should NOT be funding or supporting candidates with these views.

Why feed the noise of a mentally ill man?

He is ill. He is an artist, not a politician or ideologue. His outlandish takes are typical of mental illness.Let’s have some compassion .
