Everybody’s touting a generational change in Democratic leadership in the House, but we shouldn’t kid ourselves. There was no fundamental change there whatsoever. Wall Street remains firmly in control, as it was with a woman in her 80s and is now with a man in his 50s. 1/2

No, the Squad hasn't changed its stripes. Jeffries made a deal with them, just like Joe did, to get their vote. God help America, or what will be left of it after the next 2 yrs.

As what usually happens to eager Americans who join Congress: they tow the corporate line. Or be challenged. Over my life dozens upon dozens have suggested I run for office. No way. You make too many deals with the devil.
