Everybody’s touting a generational change in Democratic leadership in the House, but we shouldn’t kid ourselves. There was no fundamental change there whatsoever. Wall Street remains firmly in control, as it was with a woman in her 80s and is now with a man in his 50s. 1/2

That there was not even a peep of a challenge to Hakeem Jeffries is very disappointing. The question is bigger than whether or not Biden needs to be challenged. The entire system needs to be challenged. 2/2

Been this way for 50 years + while our people suffer under the control of two powers that were never to hold power like they do.

Democrats do not represent working Americans. Democrats proved that they are treacherous enemies of anybody who works in ths country.

I’ll never get over Jeffries stumping for corrupt, “pro-life” Cuellar in the TX28 primary. He’s already shown us that he will throw bodily autonomy under the bus for an incumbent.

Correct, of course, which begs the question: why do you stick with this dogshit party? GOP is no better, of course, but why are you sticking with a party that abandoned regular people 30+ years ago?

But @RepJayapal said she'd tighten up who could be a member of the progressive caucus, and he's still a member so he must be a progressive. It's simple logic, unless @RepJayapal was lying, incompetent, or compromised.
