Everybody’s touting a generational change in Democratic leadership in the House, but we shouldn’t kid ourselves. There was no fundamental change there whatsoever. Wall Street remains firmly in control, as it was with a woman in her 80s and is now with a man in his 50s. 1/2

That there was not even a peep of a challenge to Hakeem Jeffries is very disappointing. The question is bigger than whether or not Biden needs to be challenged. The entire system needs to be challenged. 2/2

Absolutely, Wall Street is still in full control! There was only a change in appearance, not a change in substance!!

The reason Wall Street remains firmly in control is because Congress allows them to be. If WS had to function in a truly free market w/out gov't kickbacks and special laws, imagine what a less corrupt country we'd live in. WS is merely playing by the rules gov't has set up.

Generational change to hand-picked and groomed successors with identical ideology and class interest is just dry cleaning the same empty suit.
