Ever heard of Operation Paperclip?…..remember that whole space race thing that had those big bottle rockets with people in’um that went to a satellite called the Moon? Ever heard of a guy called Wernher Von Braun?
They created ARPAnet which would later be used to create the internet, they founded Volkswagen, the GS process, and Jaegermeister. Thousands of Nazi scientists were recruited after the war by the US after they created the first rocket to go to space. There are many more examples.
Well, technologically-wise, that's not true. They made some huge advancements in civil, medical, aviation, rocket, and military technology, a lot of which we bear the fruits of today.
