When 60% of our population lives paycheck to paycheck, that means 60% of our people are living with chronic economic anxiety. It’s a rolling form of PTSD; not post but rather present traumatic stress disorder. This isn’t a mental health crisis; it’s an economic justice crisis.

That's the plan Marianne! Divide & conquer keeping people in constant fear, anxiety & anger. No one can contribute their talents when they are in a state of relentless crisis. It is somewhat similar to living in a war zone😡

Marianne, America's capitalist system requires a certain amount of the population to be struggling and economically uncertain. Both American parties support this system wholeheartedly. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk. Any questions?

This is SO poignant. No one has ever said it so clearly. I am single, have worked for 45 years, am a mid-level salaried professional, & have ALWAYS lived paycheck to paycheck! I just got laid off unexpectedly on Nov. 16th with no other income in the house. It’s a chronic stress.

That can't be Marianne. When asked by a reporter, how's our economy doing. The President said " our economy is strong as hell." 😂

This is a deliberate feature of capitalist ideology. This anxiety means people are focused on survival, which is exhausting and debilitating, rather than on the cause of that anxiety, which is not addressed because our political representatives are owned by capitalists.

So I have thought. The Canadian Government just gave $77M to another country. Canada has about 35 million people so why not just give every Canadian citizen $2M. Would that not help with some of the social economical issues in Canada? Less PTSD more Productivity. Just a Thought!!

60% of people dont know how to save money not that they are forced to live like that. The people who are forced to live like that is most likely way under 60%
