Constant stress over simply surviving has been shown to contribute to illness & disease, let alone the impact of not eating well & getting enough rest or nutrition. It makes me wonder if there is a correlation between constant stress & anxiety and the amount of crime and suicide.

There’s something to what you’re saying. I’ve always been a freelancer. Always economic uncertainty. Then during pandemic I could get unemployment…guaranteed for months. Was a huge emotional weight that was lifted for first time in years. So I agree with you.
