The main reason we should cancel the college loan debt is because it should never have occurred to begin with. From the start, it represented a terrible scam by which financial institutions created a profit center out of the admirable desire of our young to better their lives.

No. I can understand some relief but they still signed up for it. Can't just give up teens of thousands of debt. That's absurd.

They signed a contract. If they didn't read said contract before signing that is their own fault. That doesn't absolve them of their obligation to honor their end of the contract.
