Capitalism is functioning the only way it can. If anything is perverted about it, it's the organization of human relations as ordered by capital's private accumulation in its initial iteration.

Another example: the commonly accepted response to inflation is to raise interest rates thus making life harder for those who have already suffered the most & funneling more wealth upward.

Marianne! Seems like no one understands something very basic and important about the misuse & abuse of the word “economic”. It’s a false label because most of what we believe to be eco-nomics is in reality ego based. Ego-nomics poses and hides in plain sight.
