In a perverted form of capitalism now vogue - a monopolistic behemoth ethically unfettered & politically unregulated - the suffering of millions is baked into the business model. People & earth are collateral damage posed by a deranged economic worldview that controls our lives.

In order to change the overall or global worldview, first there has to be a spiritual and cultural shift, whereby the need for a worldview change requires a new value system mentality, that will initiate and power the new equitable worldview

Unpopular opinion... We are trillions and trillions in debt. We will never pay it down because no one wants to make the sacrifices necessary. If that could even be possible at this point. We are living in borrowed time and eventually will all come crashing down.

It IS regulated by a government which is bought off. Corporatism is not free-market capitalism. This system only exists BECAUSE the state is there to act as corporations' cronies.

Is this not the natural culmination of capitalism. The kinder, softer version of capitalism (New Deal/Great Society social democracy) was enabled by the historical anomaly of the post-war boom. The “perverted form” is if anything more normal.
