The president says he had to side with the railroad companies to get the problem solved before the xmas rush. But he could have decided to side with labor to get the problem solved before the xmas rush!

No career politician in either party who has risen to even the level of a House committee chair got to where they are by siding with labor when it matters. No one.

A lot of histories talk about "being home by Christmas". He should have sided with labor, absolutely. The problem will not be solved by forcing the workers to accept terms many of them already rejected. Treating them like chattel will make the situation worse.

Gee, don't know why the working class has been shifting to the Republicans. It's a mystery.

Let the workers suffer! They have no place else to go!

Could have, would have, should have. Marianne, don't you get it yet? Joe has always been, and will always be, an inveterate liar who will throw workers under the bus any day of the week to satisfy his corporate masters.

Democrats haven't sided in the least with workers for decades. They pull out Bernie or a squad member as a pretense now and then at designated and assigned times to pretend a role.
