Proud pro-labor president except when labor really needs you?? @POTUS FDR would be spitting out his coffee.
I'm calling on Congress to pass legislation immediately to adopt the Tentative Agreement between railroad workers and operators. Let me be clear: a rail shutdown would devastate our economy. Without freight rail, many U.S. industries would shut down.

Yes ... FDR would be spitting out his coffee ... but then ... he would have picked up the phone and scolded Biden severely!
You mean the socialists and labor unions who forced FDR to do the right thing would be taking to the streets, right?

Many Biden voters are about to have a terrible awakening.
The question is: what will Biden do when the railworkers strike anyway? I don't know how highly specialized or skilled those positions are. How long would it take National Guardsmen to be functional on the same job if he fired all strikers? This could be Biden's Reagan moment.

Imagine how much better the outcome would be for the economy if he took the side of the workers in this!! The economy would have a boost if the workers were paid more and had necessary benefits.

He does what he does. Inflation is Feds problem to solve. Rail issue got to tough for him, he transfered responsibility to congress.

Being pro favoritism of one side over another by law is inequality under the law and the exact opposite of the governments job. The president is supposed to be pro individual rights, not pro violating rights when it's politically profitable.

If they force workers to work, and one does not, then this will go to the Supreme Court. Freedom of association is a fundamental freedom. The legislation to force workers to work is probably not going to stand.
FDR brought in law that made it illegal for a private citizen to own gold! Why do you rate him so highly? He, just like Biden, presided over the worst economic crush that was btw manufactured on purpose (just as this one is) to abolish private property & make people poorer.
