If Americans were offered a genuine alternative to the neoliberal system of economics for that for the last 40 years has put corporate profits before their health and well-being, I think that they would take it.

I could be mistaken, but I'm quite sure I heard a few roundtables that included you, Michael, and David, discussing the lesser-evil strategy and taking over the Democratic Party more than once leading up to the midterms. Am I imagining those conversations?

I have never said it’s the “only” pathway. I take an “all of the above” approach, each person acting according to their own sense of what is best and how they can be of greatest service.

I suppose people putting their effort into elevating the very institutions that oppress them is one approach. Hasn't seemed to work out for us over the last 100 years or so, but maybe next time.
