If Americans were offered a genuine alternative to the neoliberal system of economics for that for the last 40 years has put corporate profits before their health and well-being, I think that they would take it.

The determination of some leftists to insist using one of the two major parties as a tool of reorganization is useless and exposes those who do so as nothing but closet neoliberals isn't worth arguing over. Ignore them.

I could be mistaken, but I'm quite sure I heard a few roundtables that included you, Michael, and David, discussing the lesser-evil strategy and taking over the Democratic Party more than once leading up to the midterms. Am I imagining those conversations?

I have never said it’s the “only” pathway. I take an “all of the above” approach, each person acting according to their own sense of what is best and how they can be of greatest service.
