It’s good that Biden is calling for an assault weapons ban even though he knows he doesn’t have the votes for one. It’s important that he uses the bully pulpit to stand for the things that matter, even when those who are bought and sold by the NRA refuse to do the right thing.

He should maybe try to pass something that could actually get passed. Like maybe raise the age to buy semi-automatic weapons to 24 (when your brain's fully developed) You could still buy shotguns, lever actions, etc. at 18, but this is something that might actually get votes imo

Bout time he used it! This moment with as many crises as we have, calls for it

What we need is a ‘Bounty Fund’ to reward tipsters for tips that lead to arrests/confiscation of felons, gang bangers, mental defects, teens - anyone who can’t legally possess or has a stolen or modified (switch) gun.

When will he ban this vaccine??? It’s killing way more folks than guns

It's not a bully pulpit if he doesn't have the votes.

No - you go fight in the next war - as a reservist if your going to send me to die I want to keep my shooting eye up to par. You won’t pay for enough ammunition to do that, so it’s something we have to do for ourselves.

Ban assault weapons...unless you're a Ukrainian Nazi, then you can have as many as you want (and we'll tax that Starbucks clerk in Portland to pay for it all)
