If Americans were offered a genuine alternative to the neoliberal system of economics for that for the last 40 years has put corporate profits before their health and well-being, I think that they would take it.

They were offered something better in 2016...and again in 2020 and both times were too afraid to take the leap ...that and the corporate machine manipulated the outcome

I don’t think people were too afraid to take the leap; as you said, they were denied the chance to vote for him. All the polls said Bernie would have beaten Trump.

I agree the corporate machine denied them the chance, but ultimately its up to the voter to get informed and pull the lever ....they were informed (certainly in 2016) and simply didn't turn up in enough numbers... Its all about education, and you certainly provide this ...

If the DNC had kept their fingers off the scale in the 2016 primary, I don’t know if Hillary or Bernie would have won it. But either way, people would have felt it was a fair election, they would have shown up to vote for the winner, and Trump would never have been president.

There are many "ifs" ... I still feel that ultimately the electorate have the sway, and an educated electorate is the one thing neither party wants ...

Infrastructure Industry. Not infrastructure in history! 🙄
Do you think Hillary would've won in 2016 if the election was fair? I think it definitely played a role, I'm just not sure if the number of Bernie voters not showing up or voting trump would've been enough.
