If Americans were offered a genuine alternative to the neoliberal system of economics for that for the last 40 years has put corporate profits before their health and well-being, I think that they would take it.

Our system is hampered by all sorts of market interventions - like certificate of need requirements that limit supply in healthcare. We need a system that gets government controls out of the way, not a system that demonizes “profits” (also known as sustainable solutions).

Is "neoliberal" the correct label? I believe it to be entirely conservative because they're the ones guarding & protecting it, entirely at the expense of "the people" and our society.
