If Americans were offered a genuine alternative to the neoliberal system of economics for that for the last 40 years has put corporate profits before their health and well-being, I think that they would take it.

They would, if the US were an actual Democracy, which it is most certainly not. We have Democracy at the state and local levels, only a full scale rEvolution will bring it to the national level.

Corporate interests, the true owners of this country, will never allow such a choice to become available to Americans. They own the politicians, the courts, the media, the financial institutions, the military, prison and medical industrial complexes, etc. Americans are screwed.
