If Americans were offered a genuine alternative to the neoliberal system of economics for that for the last 40 years has put corporate profits before their health and well-being, I think that they would take it.

They were offered something better in 2016...and again in 2020 and both times were too afraid to take the leap ...that and the corporate machine manipulated the outcome

I don’t think people were too afraid to take the leap; as you said, they were denied the chance to vote for him. All the polls said Bernie would have beaten Trump.

As a consumer of government services I've never been impressed - long lines, bureaucracy, disenfranchised Reps. This is compounded by the incompetence in government run operations (e.g., NYCHA). Not sure why you're sure government everything will be better.
