We should be automatically registered to vote at age 18. Voting day should be on Sat. and/or a national holiday. While some want to make it harder to vote we should do all we can to make it easier. Everything we say we believe in, we need to make it real on a whole new level

Only thing I think that needs to be difficult is to scan your picture I.D. prior to voting. Limit mail in ballots to people that actually need them. Instead of having it on a Saturday I'd rather just make it a national holiday. Other than that 100 percent think it should be easy.

Nope on automatic and a Holiday. The freaking government workers get to many paid holidays as it is !

I think if Election Day were a Saturday/holiday turnout would plummet. People would treat it as a vacation day. Workplaces are required to allow people time to vote. Keep allowing early voting - makes it much easier.
