Why don’t we have elections on a Saturday so more working people can get to the polls? Too obvious?

We could make voting a federal holiday. Like Australia, we could make it mandatory to vote. We could have people automatically registered on their 18th birthday. The system limits the participation of the average person by making it complicated in ways it doesn’t have to be.

I dont think voting should be mandatory, but we could make voting easier, and run actual good candidates and then many more people would choose to vote.
