We will end the aberrational era in which short term corporate profit maximization became the governing principle of the United States under a corrupt political establishment, and replace it with the humanitarian and democratic values that are our original foundational principles

"...humanitarian and democratic values that are our original foundational principles" like slavery?!? What are you even talking about?

There’s always been a tragic gap between principles on which we purport to stand & our own often violent transgressions against them; 41 of 56 signers of Dec of Independence were slave owners. It’s the job of each generation to try to close the gap. Some have & now it’s our turn

I think a history lesson of “our foundational principles” is in order

Our foundational principles were and are brilliant; it’s our historical behavior, often violently contrary to our principles, that’s the problem. No generation of Americans has fully actualized those principles -some have more than others -but it’s every generation’s task to try

Read the Declaration of Independence. We were founded on anti-tax and anti-Big Government. Our now our government has become King George(the very thing we fought so bravely to escape).

Imagine. Those that have read your books. This was in your book Imagine. Maybe consider updating this and putting it on audible? Loved that book, oldie but goodie.

How? The computer & the internet gave the greedy capitalists more power & control than Pharaoh had. What you're asking is revolutionary. They call it "socialism" to demonize it. Making workers partners in decision-making is the path for freedom & democracy -Prof Wolff @profwolff
