The only antidote to a violent revolution at this point is that we wage a peaceful one against the corporatist politics that produced so much dysfunction to begin with.

The we could just like, do a violent revolution. Since everything to do with political power is already violent. And because every successful social movement has came with violence.

You鈥檙e leaving out the two biggest revolutions of the 20th century: the Indian Independence movement that cast out of their country the colonial power of Great Britain, and the civil rights movement in the United States in the 1960s

Gandhi & King鈥檚 Revolutions-as magnificent as they were-failed in being non-violent-fact: they both died violently-we have to/can-tighten up the reigns-both failed in basic security measures & dare i say: had a lacking of love=all true masters seek being bettered by followers馃暞鉂わ笍

Both of these revolutions contained violence. The civil rights movement has been whitewashed to only be about MLK when in reality there were multiple massive riots at the time. Malcom X was pro-violence for most of his life and MLK even thought riots were inevitable.
