As long as they don’t hurt the art (which they’re not), I think environmental activists throwing food stuff etc. onto priceless paintings to highlight the insanity of our priorities is a pretty glorious piece of agitprop.

If these masterpieces are not protected within a laminate, they are protected by a layer of Damar varnish, or similar such material.

Or is it Dada 2.0? Duchamp approves.

Them doing that has the exact opposite effect they want with me. The times I hear about this it makes me want to oppose what ever they are protesting. They are not shining a light on the environment they are turning middle of the road people into enemies.

Good.. they can go to your house next. It’s childish and counterproductive.

You are about to die because the room is overheating. You've tried everything to get them to turn down the heat but for whatever reason the people monitoring the cameras aren't doing anything. You have a can of soup and there's a famous painting protected by glass

It just doesn't make sense, remember when environmentalists were actually badass and doing stuff that mattered rather than trying to get likes online (which hurts the enviroment due to data processing)

Give the some crystals and sing Kumabaya. That'll probably fix it.
