As long as they don’t hurt the art (which they’re not), I think environmental activists throwing food stuff etc. onto priceless paintings to highlight the insanity of our priorities is a pretty glorious piece of agitprop.

Good luck with this take. It only promotes the desire to shun them and ignore them. There’s no pseudo intellectual connection to Dada or a righteous cause. It’s viscerally repugnant despite intentions. Nothing is sacred but the sacred.Knowing the difference is Dadaesque

wrong on every level. its just as insane. art whether its famous, valuable or something i painted in my room has precious meaning and significance. it's deeply hurtful and counter productive.
