Politicians have been stealing from social security since the 1960鈥檚! I remember Ted Kennedy saying it will never go broke! Puh! It has to stop! Who will step up?!
Neo-Liberal Capitalist Democrats and Republicans want both gone, they've been sabotaging the system since the 80's just as the wealthy have been raiding pension funds. The Aristocracy hate paying for Serfs to retire, they believe that your role in this world is to serve them.
Dems were the first to cut Social Security, back in the '90s, targeting the disabled. Low-income seniors rely on dual benefits, Medicaid/Medicare, with Medicaid covering prescriptions, etc. Dems set to reform-away Medicaid. Killing more poor.
This one is wearing out really fast, I suppose because Dems used it so often. Have no fear, Democrats maintain a far lead in dismantling that "social safety net."
