The best thing Democrats could do to beat Republicans in the midterms is to provide a genuine alternative to their economic agenda: Universal healthcare, free/near free college, total cancellation of college loan debt. Progressive policies are the ones that motivate and inspire

Looking at responses to your reasonable suggestion, I’m forced to conclude way we think about money is fundamentally broken. Everyone is taught to see these ideas through lens of 17th-19th economic theories rather than asking fundamental questions abt civilization we want to be.

Agree complelely! Dems are mainly campaigning on abortion rights and the GOP is mainly campaigning on crime. Yet most voters are concerned with the economy, while Biden's claiming it's strong.

You know they won't. But yet you still voice these suggestions as if the Democrats care. They don't care. The are fundamentally corrupt. They take dark money, they are ruled by their corporate donors. In giving them advice you actually give them credibility they don't deserve.

Motivation comes from receiving a reward for hard work. Free stuff does the opposite of that.

Democrats oppose these things. They've held all the power now for almost two years and have failed to enact anything meaningful for working class people. And the few things they did do, child tax credit & student loan cancelation, they're going back on. Stop supporting Democrats!

They need to make ads like the one in the short clear video in this tweet:
Republicans have spent $44 million on TV ads focused on the inflation & the economy since labor day, per @levernews. Democrats have spent just $12 million — less than 7% of their total ad spending. @StanGreenberg argues they’re making a huge mistake.
