The best thing Democrats could do to beat Republicans in the midterms is to provide a genuine alternative to their economic agenda: Universal healthcare, free/near free college, total cancellation of college loan debt. Progressive policies are the ones that motivate and inspire

And their economics. Call out underhanded bad economics in the conservative style. Explain real neoclassical welfare economics and how it relates to democracy and liberal and progressive economic goals. Espouse liberal economics, not conservative / "neoliberal" economics.
