The best thing Democrats could do to beat Republicans in the midterms is to provide a genuine alternative to their economic agenda: Universal healthcare, free/near free college, total cancellation of college loan debt. Progressive policies are the ones that motivate and inspire

College debt cancellation is a band-aid. Education policies should prioritize solving the fundamental issues behind rising student debt. I'd love to get rid of my college debt, but I don't want to pay the tax for future generations because we didn't solve the number one issue.

Look I know ignoring economics and focusing on Trump didn't work out very well for the Democrats in 2016 or 2018 and only worked in 2020 because of COVID but this time it'll be different, this time for sure
