The best thing Democrats could do to beat Republicans in the midterms is to provide a genuine alternative to their economic agenda: Universal healthcare, free/near free college, total cancellation of college loan debt. Progressive policies are the ones that motivate and inspire

I don’t know Marianne, throughout history Democrats have played lip-service to progressive policies in order to get elected and then not delivered on those. They spent the entirety of 2021 pretending to support a marginally progressive bill only to let it die without a vote.
